A Cool Snap

It's brass monkey weather today down to -12 and yaaay!!! a high of -3.
Freakin Cold!!!
Haven't had much snow lately in fact no moisture at all really. Weird thing for me to say I know, but i'm used to going out in the cold in Tassie, at least and feeling it damp underfoot, frosty, dewy. misty or something. Without the moisture the cold is somewhat bearable and although its the coldest weather i've experienced in measurement -12. I've definately felt colder at times in Tassie but thats usually when i've been caught without a coat or got wet.

I'm laughing at the cold over here; I have my new North Face Hymalaya Summit Series Down jacket which I love to bits. Jungeon and Hyunmok gave it to me for a gift for my birthday which was VERY generous of them. Also i'm sporting, not so sexy long johns, gloves, neck garter, beanie and gloves which are keeping me toasty. I can't wait for it to snow again as it doesn't seem fair to suffer this much cold without some nice snow as a reward.

Its a nice time to have time off for vacation (NOT!) might just settle in with a good book and a bottle of soju :)
