Finally some photos!!!

Well it was halloween at school the other week and we all dressed up and went down the street trick or treating.

Caroline and Angela apply some duco.
Some days I wish I was In kinder...
Albert hates the camera. Mmmmm.. you know your'e in for a tough day when one of your co-teachers arrive wearing a 'little' red riding hood outfit which closely resembles a French maid...
Its a tough job but somebody's got to do it!!!

Ahh, Miss Corea.... Bit of a crush at present....pitty, no future in it me thinks.
My little superheroes.
This is Wendy (who is married to Canadian Rob) and Crissy at a Friday night blowout. They are becoming pretty frequent which isn't doing my braincells any favours.
Things got pretty messy from this point on, locals were offended, beer got thrown voices got raised. Just the usual when you join some people together with nothing in common but the english language.
Some more kiddies, NO they weren't out with us, just bloggers been an utter utter bastard with photos lately and i'm not taking any chances deleting it in case I wipe the lot.
Canadian Rob and I get a bit cudly. As I mentioned before the weather has dropped so its natural to snuggle up...

Introducing Chongun and Cupid, not his real name and baby, also a temporary name till I can remember it. Chongun takes an arvo lesson with me and she has in the past introduced me to Hyuanmok aka,Catherine. She's awesome, very friendly and completely generous in every way. I'm so happy to have developed a great friendship with her and Hyuanmok over the past months and hope to stay in touch into the future.
Cupid has issues smileing at the moment but we are working on it.
As you can see we have a way to go. He's young, he still has time...
Maybe the task is too much!!!
Ok... Last Thursday was my birthday and I got spoilt rotten. During school I had nothing but snack parties and games, also a traditional b'day lunch courtesy of Noona, my surrogate mummy ay school. After school I was surprised with another cake and a rendition of happy birthday. Thanks to all who emailed or slomailed or phoned. It was much appreciated. I'm 30 now and feel old and decrepid, but thats a story for another day.
Later that evening I had dinner downstairs with the pick of the locals plus Hyuanmok and Chongun who had a great time and I'm very proud of them as it's quite nerve racking for Koreans to go out with foreigners for the first time. I invited the teachers from school but they weren't game to come out. Seriously, regardless of how well they know us , deep down I think some Koreans regard foreigners as compleatly decadent. Which is not completely true.
Cake No.3, Cheese cake, absolutely delicious.
Joe, Deb and Hyuanmok
Troy and Chongun
Troy hates cameras.
As do I. Recent phenomena: Koreans are complete posers both male and female without a hint of restraint. Basically if it reflects they will check themselves out in it, adjust if necessary compleatly devoid of selfconciousness.
Cake No.4, courtesy of Rob and Wendy who on friday night generously hosted a going away bash for Caroline and combined 30th for me. Thats right my gal pal is leaving on Thursday and i'll miss her heaps. She's been kind enough to leave me a few things, tv, table, washing liquid and a n extra student or two which I have picked up in the draft. All the best Caroline Korea wont be the same without you and certainly wouldnt have been as good if I hadn't met you. Good LucK!!

Meet; Jenna, Emily and Cat. Lovely local lasses from the mother country. They hate to party or go out so I was lucky to get a snap of these rare species in the wild!!

Disgraceful.... wish you were here Rexy!

Grey's the new black.
Went to Itaewon on Sunday for Carolines final Seoul sojourn and walked past this place... Really, someones pissing themselves laughing somewhere.
Tonight the school organised a going away dinner for Caroline and another b'day cake for Noona who's bday was today. Lots of food, some mekju and plenty of laughs.
Noona's awesome, cant't speak a word of english but runs rings around anyone else at the school when it comes to being welcoming and friendly. Has got a great sense of humour (shit stiring) and its people like here which make me want to learn to understand more Korean language as I reckon she'd be more of a crack up than she already is . Happy 21st Noona!!
Miss Lun, teaches Chinese, speaks Japanease, obviously Korean too. Not to mention she's managed to learn enough English since i've been at the school to hold complete conversations. In the heirachy of things at the school she dosent have much of a say, but behind this little grin is one of the smartest people i've met. Rediculous really. When I first arrived I saw her float by a bit and asked around what her name was? Chinease teacher, was the reply every where. No... Whats her real name I asked, I didnt feel comfortable calling her Chinese Teacher, how impersonal... The truth, they did not know!! At that stage she couldn't speak a word of english nor I Korean so after a bit of sign language Miss Lun appeared. Now she is called 'Lun teacher' by everybody which is much better. P.s. I still dont know the bus drivers name. " ajoshi" which translated is a universal word for an older male worker is all he is referred to as.
