May we live in interesting times...

I've been meaning to post a blog for a while as I'm going well over here and I've plenty of stories to share from the past few weeks. However, recent events in China. Namely the devastating earthquake in the Sichuan province measuring a massive 7.8 on the Richter scale have sped things up and although i'm too busy to write in detail I just wanted to let all and sundry know that i'm fine and nowhere near any of the trouble. It's a sad situation but the China government here have mobilized a massive relief effort which should provide some help to those affected.
